You Say, God Says!
It is easy to get discouraged when things are going badly. But we shouldn't lose heart,
because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering. For all the
negative things we have to say to ourselves, God has a positive answer for it.
You say: “It’s Impossible.”
God says: “…The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
(Luke 18:27)
You say: “I’m too tired.”
God says: “…I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
You say: “I can’t go on.”
God says: “…My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.”
(II Corinthians 12:9)
You say: “I can’t figure things out.”
God says: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart…And He will make your paths
straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
You say: “I have all sorts of problems and nobody cares.”
God says: cast “...all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
You say: “Nobody really loves me.”
God says: I LOVE YOU. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16)
If we will listen to God’s words not only will have peace in this life, but more
importantly, we will have a place in eternity.
YOU SAY: “How do I know what to do?”
GOD SAYS: HAVE FAITH - “…faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of
Christ.” (Romans 10:17)
GOD SAYS: BELIEVE – “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that
believeth not shall be damned.” (Mark 16:16)
GOD SAYS: REPENT - “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be
blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the
presence of the Lord;” (Acts 3:19)
"Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ
for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of
the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38)
GOD SAYS: CONFESS - “…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in
your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be
saved;” (Romans 10:9)
GOD SAYS: BE BAPTIZED - “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of
Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive
the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38) “He that believeth
and is baptized shall be saved…” (Mark 16:16)
But, you say: “I love God and Jesus, isn’t that enough?”
GOD SAYS: “He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me…”,
“…If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word” (John 14:21, 23)
